Cycling is a very popular physical activity and is popular both as a sport and as a means of recreation. These days, many people around the world have started cycling for staying healthy and fit. It is regarded as an activity which has a lot of benefits and is recommended for people of all ages. It is an excellent aerobic exercise, especially if done in the mountains, surrounded by nature.


Today i will talk about a variety of benefits that cycling has.

  1. Cycling exercise your butt and your upper and back legs looks like sculpture.

  2. It gives you a lot of fun,than walking.You feel alive especially when you cycling without hands and the air caresses your face.

  3. Bicycle reduce carbon dioxide emissions

  4. It is cheaper than a car or a bike and we can save money from oil as it is very expensive for our transportation.

  5. Cycling lowers the risk of heart disease.According to the British Heart Foundation, around 10,000 fatal heart attacks could be avoided each year if people kept themselves fitter. Cycling just 20 miles a week reduces your risk of heart disease.

  6. It builds strength and muscles and protects your joints.

    The quadriceps and hamstring in the upper leg. Gastrocnemius and soleus in the calf. The muscles contract in sequence that creates the pedaling action.It also exercises your stomach muscles and your shoulders.Also I’d like to add that strength work (with weights) can be beneficial to cycling.

  7. With cycling you lose Weight.Cycling eats up calories.It is a good way to lose those unwanted pounds. Steady cycling burns approximately 300 calories per hour. If you cycle for 30 minutes every day you would burn 11 pounds of fat in a year. Since it helps build muscle, cycling will also boost your metabolic rate long after you’ve finished your ride.

  8. Cycling is a great way to introduce our children to our phisical activity and also to great outdoor.Cycling is a time for us to spend together,opportunity to relax and even keep fit in the process.

  9. True cycling we meet new people,we can discover new places.

  10. Cycling reduce work stress.

We all must find the right time to ride a bicycle because as Albert Einstein said:

”Life is like riding a bicycle.To keep your balance you must keep moving”.
